Hybrid Junior Whippets Football
Registration starts in April/May and ends mid-June.
Hybrid Flag Football is designed for 4th/5th graders. The game is 8 on 8 and is played while wearing full football safety equipment, yet it is still flag football. The game rules are designed to expose players to the next level of competition. Whitewater Jr Whippets belong to the Badger East Youth Football League and have a 6 game season. Games are played on Saturday afternoons in surrounding communities within 50 miles. The season typically begins the 2nd week of August and ends on the 2nd Saturday in October.
4th & 5th Grade

Spring 7 on 7 Passing League
Registration starts in January and ends end of February
The spring passing league provides players with an out of season opportunity to play positions that may not normally play during the fall football season, while providing quarterbacks and receivers with important offseason, game like reps. It is 7 on 7 passing league flag football. There is no running the ball, and no rushing the quarterback. The season typically consists of spring practices once or twice a week during the month of April with weekend games during the month of April and early May. There is no cost for participation. *** 5th graders may be allowed based on sign up numbers ***

Tackle Junior Whippets Football
Registration starts in April/May and ends mid-June.
Whitewater Jr Whippets tackle football belongs to the Badger East Youth Football League, which consists of 14 surrounding communities. The league is designed for 6th, 7th, and 8th grade (11 player) tackle football games. Game rules are adjusted at each level to prepare players for high school football play. Depending on player registration numbers, players may play up or down a level based on skill set, team needs, and League approval. The 7 game season begins on the first Monday in August, with practices 4 days a week. When school begins, practices are 3 days a week immediately after school, with games on Saturdays through 2nd Saturday in October.

The City of Whitewater Parks & Recreation provides an introduction to football for boys and girls in 4K and 5K. The program focuses on skill-building and provides fun competition. Depending on the skill level, a scrimmage may be held at the end of the season.
